More Updates to the Most Free Resume Builder Online

We're back with another round of updates to Reach Resume. This batch is all about flexibility and control: getting your content in faster, navigating your tailored resumes more easily, and making AI edits feel as natural as typing.

Upload an Existing Resume Anytime

When you first sign up, we ask if you'd like to upload an existing resume. But if you skipped that step, you were out of luck: until now. You can upload a previous resume at any point, even if you pressed skip during onboarding. No need to start from scratch or re-enter everything manually. Just drop in your file and pick up and we will completely fill out that resume on our platform.

A Reorganized Tailoring Experience

We've reorganized the tailoring feature to make your workflow cleaner and less confusing. It's now much easier to get back to your original resume, make edits to your tailored version, or kick off a fresh tailoring session, all without losing track of where you are. Whether you're tweaking one application or juggling several, the new layout keeps everything clearer and more accessible.

AI Editing, Right Where You Need It

This is the big one. We've added an AI editing feature that puts intelligent assistance directly inside your resume. Just hover over any item or section and tap the black sparkle icon in the top left corner. focused chatbot appears, ready to help you rewrite, refine, or rethink just that part of your resume. No more copying text in and out of a separate tool. The AI meets you exactly where you're working, so edits feel fast and natural.

Always Getting Better

Every update we ship comes from listening to what you need. Reach Resume is built to grow with you, and we're just getting started.
