We've resized our templates so that more of your experience, skills, and accomplishments fit on each page by default. No more awkward overflow or cramped sections: your resume will look clean and complete right out of the box, without any manual tweaking on your end.
And if you were already happy with our template library, you're going to love this: we've added 1.5x more templates to choose from. Whether you prefer a minimal single-column layout or a bold two-column design, there's now even more variety to help you find the look that fits your style and industry.
A Completely Rebuilt Tailoring Feature
This is the big one. We've fully rebuilt our resume tailoring feature from the ground up, and it's more powerful than ever.
To match that, tailoring now has its own dedicated page. Instead of the simple pop-up we had before, you get a focused space designed entirely around getting your resume right for the job: no distractions, no clutter.
Here's what's new:
- Choose your AI model: You can now select between Google Gemini and OpenAI to power your tailoring. Different models have different strengths, and we want you to have the flexibility to use what works best for you.
- Write your own prompt: Not happy with a generic tailoring result? Now you can write your own instructions and tell the AI exactly how you want your resume adjusted. Want it to emphasize leadership? Focus on specific keywords from a job posting? Tone down the technical jargon? You're in control.
This update transforms tailoring into a genuinely personalized tool.
Clearer, Fairer Pricing
We also took a hard look at how we communicate our pricing and rewrote it to be straightforward.
Here's the simple version: almost everything in Reach Resume is free. Build, edit, format, and download your resume without spending a cent. We only charge when you use AI-powered features like OpenAI or Gemini, because those API calls have a real cost we pass on directly. Everything the AI does, you can also do manually yourself. There are no paywalls blocking any features. Just honest, usage-based pricing that only kicks in when AI is doing the work.
